CBD for Relaxation: How to Choose the Right Product

This study was a retrospective chart review of 103 adult patients treated at the California Blendz. All patients were informed about the potential risks and benefits of CBD and provided written consent. Monthly assessments included clinical evaluation and documentation of anxiety and sleep using validated instruments. CBD was employed as an adjunctive treatment in most cases and was incorporated according to individual practitioner preference.

Most patients received 25 mg/d of CBD in capsule form if their primary concern was anxiety or 75 mg/d if the primary complaint was poor sleep. Anxiety scores decreased within the first month and remained reduced, while sleep scores improved initially but then fluctuated. CBD was well accepted by most patients and was tolerated with few side effects, which were primarily related to dosage and not CBD per se.
