The tesla model x 2024 is one of few luxury-brand SUVs that can boast sports car-beating acceleration. But the X’s other strengths—from its spectacular panoramic windshield and upward-opening falcon-wing rear doors to its useful frunk—may not make up for subpar smartphone integration and a lack of practicality.
The X is the tallest Tesla and its interior features a distinctly minimalist design, with just two digital displays and a giant 17.0-inch landscape infotainment screen that serves as home to most of the vehicle’s controls. It’s responsive and relatively user-friendly, but Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are missing, which could be a deal breaker for some tech-savvy shoppers.
Tesla Model X 2024: Upgrades and Enhancements”
In its base form, the Model X is an all-wheel drive electric SUV powered by dual motors for a total of 670 horsepower. But it can be optioned with a tri-motor configuration to deliver an astounding 335 miles of EPA-estimated driving range, depending on wheel size.
Like all Tesla vehicles, the X is constantly adding and updating its standard features via over-the-air software updates. But a few standout highlights include a rear-view camera that automatically turns off when not in use, a self-driving capability for navigating city streets, and an automatic lane change feature.
The X is available in five-, six-, and seven-seat configurations with synthetic leather seats. Its most distinctive exterior feature is its falcon-wing rear doors, which open wide like wings to allow easier access to the back row. They’re impressive to behold, but they can be a liability in tight parking garages or with low ceilings.
